Tags
Tags are descriptors that you can assign to your Documents to organize and remember them. They have a hierarchical structure, that is always displayed on the tree at the left side of the screen.
A Document can have many Tags assigned, and if none it will get assigned to the Root Tag.
View Tag details
When displaying the details of a Tag, a list of published and unpublished Documents will be displayed. The following actions can be performed on any selected Document on both lists:
- Create tag: Creates a children Tag.
- Edit: Edit the Tag data. For details, view Tag edition
- Add document: Add a Document that will be assigned to the current Tag. For details, see Adding documents
- View as icons/View as list: The Document list will change to display bigger thumbnails or a selection of the file details, with fewer Documents per page.
Published/Unpublished Documents
This tab includes a list of Documents that include this Tag, which can be selected to modify them at once:
- Download: the selected Documents will be downloaded as a zip file.
- Add to favorites: the Documents will be added to the user's "My favorites" selection.
- Delete: Delete the Documents from the system. This action cannot be undone.
- Remove Tag: This option will remove the Tag from the selected Documents. As a result the Documents will not appear in this list anymore, but they can still be searched for and they will keep any other Tags or the Root Tag if the list is empty.
- Publish/Unpublish: set the selected Documents to the "Published" or "Unpublished" status.
- Edit: Edit the selected files. For details, see Editing multiple files
