Accessibility policy
We don't understand as "reasonable" any percentage of people that should be cut away from a website usage: everybody should be able to use Internet. Our accessibility policy is oriented towards the following goals:
- Easy access no matter the user physical condition or his environment.
- Support diverse browsers.
- A clear and well-defined content structure.
- Optimize the user experience.
Several steps have been taken in this direction:
- Logical order of screen and code contents.
- Simplified menu system.
- Use of W3C standards:
- XHTML Strict and CSS 2.1
- Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG , level Triple-A)
- Alternate text description for pages with heavy visual content, oriented to the visual impaired.
- Keyboard shortcuts to the main menu items.
