Spring Core 3.0 and Spring Rich Web 3.0 are already available

The year of 2009 brought a series of important changes related to Spring, in part due to the SpringSource acquisition by VMWare.

SpringSource has delivered the 3.0 release of their entire Spring products portfolio, including Spring Security. As a consequence, all SpringSource courses have been updated to version 3.0 starting February. You can find the courses schedule here.

A new course asked by many attendees and that is already available, the first Spring Rich Web 3.0 course will be delivered in May. This course will outlay the REST approach to web design and the latest tendencies with web development using Spring.

SpringSource S2G Forum will be held on March 18th, in Munich, Germany. The event is a one day, multi-track, lecture-based forum that gives the latest insight about Spring and Grails technologies.

This year we also have a new spanish-speaking equivalent as JavaHispano and SpringSource are hosting Spring2GX Day, a free event where they will present all the news about Spring 3 and where Escuela de Groovy and Graeme Rocher will be presenting the latest news around Groovy and Grails.

The new courses schedule is available online for the first semester of 2010, including new cities such as Bilbao and Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
